The objective is to identify and engage with key players in the local transport systems market, fostering business connections by facilitating interactions between these entities and the Cluster’s members.
Project Background
CARA, a leading organization in transport system research and innovation, aimed to expand its network and foster business collaborations. To achieve this, CARA partnered with Source of Asia (SOA) to identify key players in the local market and connect them with Cluster members. Initially, the project was designed as a business trip to France. However, due to changing circumstances, it shifted to online meetings for introductions.
Solutions
To meet CARA’s needs, SOA developed a strategic approach with key steps:
- Database Development: We built a detailed database of potential partners in the transport sector. The focus was on key stakeholders who could contribute to meaningful collaborations.
- Project Goal Refinement: With travel restrictions in place, we adjusted the project’s scope. Online meetings became the priority to connect businesses and explore new opportunities.
- Coordination and Facilitation: We managed and facilitated online B2B meetings. Our team ensured smooth interactions between CARA representatives and potential partners.
Results
The collaboration between CARA and SOA led to notable achievements:
- Lead Identification: We identified and qualified two promising leads, both national leaders in the automotive sector.
- B2B Meeting Success: Our efforts resulted in a key B2B meeting. CARA engaged with the region’s largest electric vehicle manufacturer, opening doors for discussions and future collaborations.
This project highlights how adaptability and strategic planning can drive business success, even in challenging circumstances.
