In early January, Source of Asia (SOA) participated in L’Université d’Hiver OSCI 2026. This event officially launched in Nantes, France, marking the start of two days of high-level exchanges focused on international trade, regional competitiveness, and global economic outlooks. Organized by OSCI, the event brought together international business leaders, consultants, exporters, and institutional partners from across France.

The opening ceremony set a strong collaborative tone, welcoming new OSCI members and reaffirming the role of trusted advisory networks in navigating today’s increasingly complex international markets.

Key Highlights from the Opening Day

The first morning featured two strategic roundtable discussions that resonated strongly with Source of Asia’s on-the-ground experience supporting companies across Asia and global markets:

  • Global Voices. International experts shared perspectives on geopolitical shifts, supply chain realignment, and the need for pragmatic market entry strategies.
  • Economic Outlook for Pays de la Loire. Discussions focused on regional strengths, export dynamics, and how local ecosystems can better connect with global opportunities.

These sessions underlined a common theme. International growth today requires deeper preparation, stronger partnerships, and region-specific execution rather than one-size-fits-all strategies.

Source of Asia’s Perspective

Representing Source of Asia, CEO Thierry MERMET took part in L’Université d’Hiver OSCI 2026. This is an opportunity to engage in deeper strategic dialogue on how international expansion models are evolving.

Across discussions with peers, partners, and institutional stakeholders, one shared conclusion stood out: international growth in 2026 is no longer driven by scale alone, but by clarity of positioning, regional execution, and long-term resilience. Markets such as ASEAN illustrate this shift clearly, offering strong opportunities but requiring structured approaches, local presence, and disciplined risk management.

Luniversite Dhiver Osci 2026 Roundtable

Panel discussions during the “Voix du Monde” roundtable at L’Université d’Hiver OSCI 2026 in Nantes highlighted global market dynamics and regional outlooks. Meanwhile, international business experts exchanged views on the evolving landscape of international trade.

For Source of Asia, L’Université d’Hiver OSCI 2026 aligns closely with our mission to help companies structure, de-risk, and accelerate their international expansion, particularly in complex, fast-evolving regions such as Southeast Asia.

The discussions echoed key realities we observe daily:

  • Market entry decisions are becoming more strategic and less opportunistic.
  • Regional expertise and local execution capabilities are now critical success factors.
  • Peer exchange and trusted advisory networks play a central role in long-term international performance.

Especially, participating in this event allowed SOA to contribute to forward-looking conversations shaping international business in 2026 and beyond.

A Platform for Meaningful Exchange and Collaboration

With two days dedicated to dialogue, analysis, and networking, L’Université d’Hiver OSCI continues to position itself as a key platform for French and international companies seeking clarity, perspective, and actionable insights in global markets.
