[Event Recap] METALEX Vietnam 2025: Conquering Global Markets with Confidence

In her talk, “Going Global: Expanding Your Value Chain through Trade Policies, Incentives, and Global Networks”, Ms. Huong outlined concrete strategies for manufacturers in Vietnam to join international supply chains effectively. She stressed that international markets are always open—if businesses are ready to step forward.

She also analyzed the shift of production from China to Vietnam, especially as the US imposes counter-tariffs. While sectors like electronics, textiles, furniture, and seafood face challenges, this moment is also an opportunity for Vietnam to elevate its position and product value.

Key advice for Vietnamese enterprises included:

• Actively seek international customers instead of waiting.
• Invest in quality and research & development.
• Obtain reputable international certifications.
• Build strong company profiles to project professionalism and global credibility.
• Take advantage of trade policies, government incentives, and expert consulting services.

The discussion also highlighted new opportunities for Vietnam’s manufacturing sector to strengthen its global presence and move to the next stage of growth.

A new milestone for the Vietnamese industry

The panel also highlighted Vietnam’s growing potential in the automotive components sector. To move beyond simple assembly, it will be necessary to create genuine industrial clusters and strengthen capabilities in OEM and ODM manufacturing. The future lies in investment, collaboration, and innovation.

Finally, in a context where ESG considerations are becoming increasingly important, the event underscored the significance of responsible and sustainable growth.
