On August 8th, 2024, Danh VO – Our Head of Sales & Trading at Source of Asia had the privilege of participating in the HAWA General Assembly of Delegates. The significant event was held in Ho Chi Minh City and organized by the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of HCMC. It marked the beginning of the IX term (2024 – 2028) with the topic of promoting self-reliance in the supply chain.
About HAWA General Assemble of Delegates
The HAWA General Assembly of Delegates gathered industry leaders and professionals to discuss the challenges and opportunities faced by Vietnam’s wood processing and handicraft industry. Most importantly, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh, the Chairman of HAWA for the VIII term, highlighted the sector’s resilience and innovation in overcoming recent challenges.
Furthermore, HAWA has played a pivotal role in creating a comprehensive ecosystem for the wood and interior industries. HAWA has helping businesses connect with customers, partners, and suppliers worldwide. Notably, HAWA has revitalized the model for organizing furniture fairs, establishing HAWA Expo as an annual destination for international buyers. Hence, HAWA Expo has also facilitating Vietnamese companies’ participation in specialized fairs in the USA, Europe, South Korea, and China.
In March, we have an honored to accompany our Rubio Monocoat at HAWA Expo 2024. At the HAWA Gala, Rubio impressed by winning 7 out of 9 categories in the prestigious Hoa Mai design awards.
